This activity emerged to motivate our students to read and was very successful. The main objective is that children enjoy a free and pleasant reading, acquiring the reading habit.
All Friday afternoon children caught his cushion and a book and head for the reading corner touched them. There are four reading areas, one in each class: 3 º A \u200b\u200b- THE ENCHANTED FOREST . 3 º B - ANIMALS CORNER . 4 º A - THE COMIC CORNER . 4 º B - THE PIRATE'S CORNER (The corners are chosen by children or by teachers themselves) . In each class are children of all courses and sit with your pad on the site that they like (under a table in a corner ...) to enjoy your time reading. The activity lasts an hour and love them because they are silent reading with children from other classes . After the activity the children talk about the book they are reading and were signed or sealed their cardboard "cushion and a book so they know the next day what should be another corner.
